The online landscape is constantly changing and evolving. If you want your business to stay at the forefront of people's minds this year, then you might like to take advantage of the online marketing trends that are currently on the rise within the healthcare space.
Here, I share three of my online marketing trend predictions for 2022 to help you prepare your marketing plans for the coming year!
Online consultations and telehealth services are becoming increasingly common due to the effectiveness and convenience of these services. Moreover, telehealth services have been given the green light to continue from the government, meaning people can receive healthcare rebates. As a result, I predict that a growing number of health practitioners will look to start their own businesses and look towards Instagram as a means to build their brand online.
More health practitioners on Instagram, means more competition. However, this doesn’t mean you should panic and give up on Instagram marketing altogether! Instead, I believe that you will just have to be more strategic about the way you develop your brand and approach your marketing efforts on Instagram in order to stand out from the crowd and see the results you desire.
Burnout is a common concern among health professionals. When you run your own business, it can become difficult to maintain a full client load and passion for your career, whilst also looking after your own health, wellbeing and happiness. At some stage, something slips (and it’s often at the expense of our own health).
So, how does this relate to my prediction?
Well, expanding your offering to include a digital course is something that can help you to build a more scalable and sustainable business as a digital course allows you to help a larger number of people for the same time exchange as one client.
This, in turn, may help to provide a better work life balance for those who are at risk of business burnout.
Email marketing has always been important for businesses, but as the online space becomes busier, I predict that email marketing will shine this year.
When you compose an email, you are guaranteed it will land directly in your customers inbox which allows for easy and strategic communication. This is unlike social media platforms where you need to worry about things such as algorithms and hashtags.
Therefore, I am expecting that there will be a growing number of businesses within the healthcare space who will embrace email marketing this year as a means to stay connected with their audience.
