Most health professions are unable to use testimonials to promote their businesses due to ethical limitations set out by governing bodies. Thankfully, there are many other effective ways to promote your products and services online.
1. Share a case study
Talk to your audience about how your products and/or services have been implemented successfully by other clients. No one is interested in the features of your products and services, they are interested in the benefits that they will receive from them. Tell the success stories of past clients (anonymously) through case studies. This will highlight the results you can get for people, making others more likely to want to work with you.
2. Share the behind the scenes of your business
Show people your clinic space or talk about themes that have come up with clients in your clinic that may be relatable to your audience. Not only will this provide your audience with insight into your business thus making them feel more connected to you, but it will also help to build your authority as an expert in your field.
3. Share social proof
I’m talking about comments, pictures, and (with permission) direct messages from others talking about how you have positively impacted their lives. Perhaps you’ve helped them adopt a new, healthy habit or maybe you’ve changed the way they think about a particular health topic for the better. The more social proof you share, the better, as more people will be interested to learn more about you and the products and services you offer.
4. Show people you're in demand
Show people your fully booked clinic calendar, share a screenshot of your podcast downloads or the number of orders a particular product has received. This drives awareness and interest in your products and services making people excited to buy from you.
